Today, a Development Committee meeting was held in the conference hall of the Ibis Hotel in Chisinau, attended by representatives of the ITF and Tennis Europe. The discussion focused on key areas for the development of European tennis in the coming years.
The meeting presented the ITF Development Strategy for 2025–2028, new joint projects between the ITF and Tennis Europe, programs for international training camps and tournaments for juniors, and initiatives in the field of safe and environmentally friendly tennis.
Participants paid special attention to the development of children’s and junior tennis, international Touring Team programs, Tennis Europe Academy training camps, and new educational projects for coaches and young athletes.
Holding such an event in Chisinau once again underscores the growing interest of international tennis organizations in Moldova and the development of the new National Tennis Center, which is already becoming an important platform for the European tennis community.
In the coming days, Chisinau will host the ATP Challenger 100 Moldova Open and the official opening of the National Tennis Center.
