On May 23, tennis in the Republic of Moldova will witness a historic event.
For the first time in the country, the National Tennis Center — one of the most modern sports facilities in Eastern Europe — will officially open.
The event is particularly significant due to the participation of specially invited world tennis stars Simona Halep and Juan Martin del Potro, who will take part in the tournament’s opening ceremony.
The event will culminate in an exhibition match, in which the duo of Simona Halep and Radu Albot will face the team of Juan Martin del Potro and Lia Belibova. A dynamic and spectacular high-level confrontation is expected.
Tennis fans in the Republic of Moldova will have the opportunity to watch this event from the stands.
