Tennis training camp concluded at the National Tennis Center of Moldova on Saturday, July 25. Europe 14&U Training Camp , which brought together the strongest young tennis players and coaches from across Europe for a week. For the participants, these six intense days were not just another stage of preparation, but a true school of international tennis.

Throughout the camp, the athletes worked daily under the guidance of head coach Alexander Jurgens and national specialists, improving their technique, tactical thinking, and physical fitness. The program was designed to combine intensive on-court work with theoretical lessons, game analysis, and recovery activities. Over the course of four days, participants enjoyed full training sessions from morning until evening, with two days dedicated to match practice, allowing them to immediately apply their acquired knowledge in a competitive setting.

The camp’s international atmosphere made it especially valuable. Players from different countries trained together, exchanged experiences, learned about the nuances of various schools of play, and learned to adapt to new styles of play. Every day on the courts became a new opportunity not only to improve their own game but also to learn from their peers and mentors. This is precisely the kind of experience that simply cannot be gained through regular training sessions within a single country.

An equally important part of the program were theoretical sessions. Together with coaches, participants explored modern approaches to game structure, tactical decisions, match preparation, the psychological aspects of performance, and post-workout recovery. This comprehensive approach allowed each player to gain new knowledge that will certainly prove useful in upcoming international competitions.

The camp’s organization was also highly praised by participants and accompanying coaches. The young tennis players stayed in a comfortable ibis hotel. Styles Chisinau , located just a few minutes’ walk from the National Tennis Center, was provided with nutritious meals at the hotel and on the NTC grounds, as well as all the necessary training and recovery facilities. This allowed the athletes to fully focus on what matters most—working on the court and their own athletic development.

The camp was the result of a great deal of joint work by Tennis Europe and the Moldovan Tennis Federation . The Federation not only organized the event but also provided comprehensive support throughout the week, ensuring the smooth running of the training process, coordinating accommodation, meals, transportation, staff and volunteers, and promptly resolving all organizational issues. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the entire team, participants and coaches were able to fully focus on training and get the most out of their stay in Chisinau.

The end of the training camp doesn’t mean the end of this international project. In the coming days, many of its participants will take to the courts of the international Tennis tournament . Europe Junior Tour U14 Category 3 Regatta Junior Trophy , where they can put into practice everything they learned during this busy week.

For the Tennis Federation of Moldova, holding Tennis Europe 14&U Training The Camp was further proof of the high level of international event organization and the capabilities of the new National Tennis Center. But the most important legacy of this week is the new knowledge, international experience, sporting connections, and inspiration that the participants will take home.

Perhaps in a few years we’ll hear these guys’ names again, this time at the world’s biggest tournaments. And it all began right here—on the courts of the National Tennis Center of Moldova, where another important step on the path to great victories was achieved.
