The Tournament Confirmed the Capabilities of the National Tennis Center

Hosting the Davis Cup World Group III represented another major test for Chișinău’s new National Tennis Center.

Within a single week, the venue successfully hosted both the ATP Challenger 100 Moldova Open and the Davis Cup competition.

The third day of play was particularly revealing. After a nearly six-hour rain interruption, the tournament schedule was completed thanks to the venue’s modern infrastructure, efficient drainage system and dedicated staff.

Players had access to indoor courts, a fitness center, physiotherapy services, a player lounge, a restaurant and the official tournament hotel located just a short walk from the courts.

Many players, team officials and tournament representatives praised the quality of the facilities and the overall organization.

Awards Ceremony

Immediately after the final tie, the official awards ceremony took place.

President of the Moldovan Tennis Federation Ceslav Ciuhrii and Secretary General Natalia Belibova personally attended the ceremony. Together with ITF Referee Javier Perez, they congratulated the winners and medalists and presented the official trophies and awards.

The ceremony was both emotional and memorable. Team Moldova celebrated enthusiastically with fans, teammates and organizers, creating some of the most striking images of the entire tournament.
