The Captains’ Meeting and the official draw ceremony for the Davis Cup Europe Group III competition, which will take place in Chișinău from June 10 to 13, were held at the National Tennis Centre of Moldova.
Captains of all eight participating national teams, along with team representatives, attended the event. The draw was conducted by the tournament’s Chief Referee Javier Perez and the Secretary General of the National Tennis Federation of Moldova, Natalia Belibova.
Following the draw, the teams were divided into two groups:
Pool A
Ireland
Latvia
Montenegro
Azerbaijan
Pool B
Georgia
North Macedonia
Kosovo
Moldova
During the first two competition days, teams will compete in a round-robin format, with each nation facing every other team in its group. On the final day, placement matches will determine the final standings and the teams that will earn promotion to Europe Group II.
Moldova will compete on home courts at the National Tennis Centre with the following lineup: Radu Albot, Ilia Snitari, Mathys Braun and Andrei Gorban, under the leadership of team captain Andrei Ciumac.
Admission is free for all spectators throughout the tournament. Matches will begin tomorrow, June 10, at 10:00 a.m.
